Baked Pork Tenderloin

I used to overcook pork tenderloin every time until I found this recipe. The apple cider vinegar is the secret to this dish!

Baked Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 2 pork tenderloins, 1 pound each
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth (chicken ok)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • minced parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • Mix paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Pat the tenderloins dry, then rub with the spice mixture to coat.
  • Heat the olive oil in a sauté pan and sear the tenderloins on all sides.
  • Transfer the pork to a rimmed baking dish.
  • Add the broth to the sauté pan and deglaze, scraping up the bits and reducing slightly.
  • Pour this sauce over the pork. Pour the vinegar over the pork, dot with butter and cover with foil.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes until internal temp reaches 145F.
  • Remove from the oven and let rest 5 minutes before slicing and garnishing with parsley.
  • Serve with sheet pan roasted potatoes or sweet potatoes and your favorite green veggie.
