I used to overcook pork tenderloin every time until I found this recipe. The apple cider vinegar is the secret to this dish!
Baked Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients
- 2 pork tenderloins, 1 pound each
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth (chicken ok)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- minced parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Mix paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Pat the tenderloins dry, then rub with the spice mixture to coat.
- Heat the olive oil in a sauté pan and sear the tenderloins on all sides.
- Transfer the pork to a rimmed baking dish.
- Add the broth to the sauté pan and deglaze, scraping up the bits and reducing slightly.
- Pour this sauce over the pork. Pour the vinegar over the pork, dot with butter and cover with foil.
- Bake 20-25 minutes until internal temp reaches 145F.
- Remove from the oven and let rest 5 minutes before slicing and garnishing with parsley.
- Serve with sheet pan roasted potatoes or sweet potatoes and your favorite green veggie.
