Therese’s Salad Dressing
Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Mince the garlic, add the salt to the cutting board, and use the side of the knife to smash garlic and salt into a paste.
- Put the garlic paste and all other ingredients into a mason jar. Close tightly, and shake rapidly until well mixed.
Go big on fresh ground black pepper here, it balances out the sweetness of the maple syrup – you won’t regret it!
