Patatas Bravas
Ingredients
- 3 large russet potatoes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 ounces plain tomato sauce (small can)
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
- dash Tabasco
Instructions
- Peel and cube the potatoes
- Heat 2T oil in a skillet and brown the potatoes on all sides. Cover and cook 20 minutes over low heat.
- Meanwhile, in a small skillet, heat 1T oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add tomato sauce, wine, red pepper, parsley, and Tabasco. Adjust peppers and Tabasco to taste. Cook until thick and smooth.
- Salt the potatoes to taste and transfer to a plate. Pour the sauce on top or serve alongside as a dip.
